Custodian's network is based around a highly resilient Cisco router core, utilizing Cisco switches and Nortel fibre equipment. We have diversely fed carrier racks on site from BT, NEOS Networks (SSE Telecom), Virgin Media and our facility is even used as a POP by NEOS by passing hundreds of fibre cores through our site. We then also peer with Cogent communications in Telehouse North, Hurricane Electric and have private peerings with several of our partner facilities. This allows us to provide exceptionally low packet loss, super fast transfers and incredibly high resilience to all destinations. All our equipment is fully fail-over capable and we can suffer multiple concurrent equipment failures and still continue to function unhindered.

Since early 2010 we have also been fully IPv6 capable and have active customers who have been using IPv6 for some time now. We believe it is essential that ISPs and hosting facilities like us should be leading the drive for IPv6 expansion to ensure the future growth of the global internet.
